It often seems like yesterday,

sometimes it seems like years.

We’ve shared each other’s happiness

and dried each other’s tears.

We’ve been through all the ups and downs

that bond two lives as one.

And hand in hand we journey forth

for we have just begun.

I knew it from the very first,

that God had sent you here.

He planned our lives to soon be one

and made the pathway clear.

Though ups and down may come our way

we’re equal to the test.

With Him the future is secure

for we are truly blessed.

I love you more and more each day,
