Robinn's Rx

Robinn’s Rx
Take long walks on a path through the wood,
The fresh air and exercise will do you good.
Eat fresh fruit and cut out fat,
And it’s my promise if you do all that...

You’ll lose ten pounds or twenty or more,
And regain the energy you had once before.
Climb up mountains and wade across streams,
It’s really not quite as tough as it seems.

Ride a bike or skate on a blade,
And just when you think you have it made,
You’ll hurt in places you didn’t know you had.
And if you survive you’ll really be glad.

With cholesterol down and energy up,
You’ll begin to feel as spry as a pup.
Take your vitamins and eat tofu,
It doesn’t taste so great but it’s good for you.

Put Grape nuts on your yogurt and wheat germ in your tea,
And in a few months you’ll look as good as me.
There are a hundred other things you can do for your health,
But none of those will increase your wealth.

So consider what I’ve said and make up your mind.
Buy yourself a treadmill, leave your old life behind
Now my prescription’s finished and I’ve nothing left to say,
Except to wish you well and to have a healthy day.
