VERBOSE?
You may seem to be backward and quiet and shy.
You are never afraid to give things a try.
You are always open and friendly and warm,
You build a sentence with wonderful form.
You teach great lessons and inspire the masses,
And preach a sermon that reaches all classes.
Counsel a sinner and help him feel free,
Or reach out to the blind and help them see.
You’re confident, happy, pleasant, and wry,
You’re cheerful, moody, delightful, and spry.
You’re helpful, opinionated, forceful, and strong,
And you know how to help new members belong.
You’re charming, obedient, encouraging, fair,
And you point out our faults with loving care.
While late to meetings you sometimes may be,
I couldn’t care less; that’s not important to me.
You are many things, of this I am sure,
And sometimes I feel you’re the plat du jour.
You’re all to all; they expect a lot,
But of all you are, verbose you’re not.
