Rocks

ROCKS

A rock in the path of progress

isn't always what id seems.

It's often a foundation

upon which to build your dreams.

Rocks can be cold and hard and dark

they're colored in shades of gray.

You can use them to build a protective wall

or a lighthouse to guide your way.

Now when David slew Goliath

a lot of people were left in shock.

But as we all know, what brought him down

was a plain and simple rock.

I know I'm not like David

and a Goliath I'll never be.

But  God is my rock and foundation

and He's always there for me.
